An official statement was released by a TOWIE spokesperson who explained, 'We can confirm that Dean has been suspended from the show for the remainder of the series'.
Speaking to a tabloid, a source close to the show revealed, "Dean was sent away from Towie in disgrace. What he did is a closely guarded secret but it was serious enough for bosses to take immediate action. Dean was told he was suspended from filming and left Newcastle to go back to Essex."
Dean has become the second TOWIE cast member to be suspended in a matter of days after Jon Clark was removed from the show after slapping fellow cast member Diags in Newcastle club Tup Tup.
Explaining the incident, a source close to Jon explained, "Jon and Diags had a row over some things Diags had said about Jon to a girl they both know. She was in the club and Jon confronted Diags about it."
The source added, "They got into a row in the club. Jon is going through a lot of stuff in his personal life at the moment and wants to take a break from being on the show to focus on his family and helping his sister with her daughter, as well as his business Essex Tints."
It hasn't yet been revealed whether both Dean and Jon's suspensions will be referenced on the new series of TOWIE.
