Love Island's Zara McDermott Confirms Split From Adam Collard In Emotional Instagram Statement

Zara McDermott and Adam Collard have finally called time on their relationship, following days of rumours they were ‘on the rocks’.

Love Island couple Zara McDermott and Adam Collard have split after just seven months together.

The pair have faced rumours their romance was ‘on the rocks’ for days, after Adam was pictured partying with Instagram model Brittany Archer.

Zara and Adam had also just unfollowed one another on Instagram, appearing to hint at their relationship status.

Sharing a statement on Instagram Stories to announce the news to her one million followers, Zara wrote: “I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways.

“I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him and our time spent together. I have tried to hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work.

“Sometimes in life, you aren’t enough for someone; no matter what you do for them or how much you try to be. For everyone asking if I’m ok, I don’t know that I am.

“But I know that soon I will be. I will be strong and prove to myself that I can get through this.”

Zara ended the emotional statement: “Love, always Zara.”

The Love Island stars are the third couple from the 2018 series to announce their split in recent weeks.

Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson split at the end of January while Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel have also just separated.

Winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are the last remaining couple still together.
