The critically-acclaimed LGBTQ story is now available on Netflix.
You know how impossible it is to find good films on Netflix (well it was until we made this list)? Well look no further for your next Netflix and chill movie because God's Own Country has been available on the streaming service (May 2nd).
This year has been a particularly strong year for queer cinema. Call Me By Your Name received a lot of award season buzz and Love, Simon has been killing it at the box office. And don't even get us started on 120 BPM, Rafiki, The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Freak Show! #20GayTeen has truly blessed us. But God's Own Country is arguably the best on the bunch.
One of 2017's best queer coming-of-age dramas, God's Own Country, is now streaming. It's a visually stunning film about accepting who you are. pic.twitter.com/NooNW6EvQK

Directed by Francis Lee in his feature directorial debut, the film stars Josh O'Connor and Alec Secareanu, as two young sheep farmers in Yorkshire, UK.
Johnny Saxby (O'Connor) works long hours in brutal isolation on his family's remote farm in the north of England. He numbs the daily frustration of his lonely existence with nightly binge-drinking at the local pub and casual sex. When a handsome Romanian migrant worker (Secareanu) arrives to take up temporary work on the family farm, Johnny suddenly finds himself having to deal with emotions he has never felt before. An intense relationship forms between the two which could change Johnny's life forever.
Fans of the film are pretty excited about it's appearance on Netflix.
