6. Gia Kim plays a gay character in XO, Kitty
In episode 2 of XO, Kitty we learn that Gia Kim's character Yuri is gay. She's in a secret relationship with her best friend Juliana. Scared of how her parents will react to her sexuality, Yuri enters a fake relationship with Dae. Discussing Yuri's journey with Popternative, Gia said: "I think it's a story that a lot of people can resonate with, especially teenagers and people who are still trying to figure themselves out.
