Wait until you hear those high notes...
It might be a week later but we're still gagged from the musical episode of Riverdale. But it turns out that we didn't see all the songs that the cast performed.
While we were crying over what happened with Falice, some smart Choni shippers realised that there was a song on the soundtrack from the episode that wasn't shown on television. The scene in question involved Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz singing the song "You Shine" from Carrie musical, on which the whole episode was based.
As ONTD noted, Choni fans started messaging show runner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa on social media to persuade him to release the deleted scene.

PSA: Don't mess with the Choni ship.
Well, it looks like the thinly veiled threats paid off. Roberto has now released the clip online for fans to see and, honestly, it's actually great. Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch sound AMAZING together. The harmonies are on point and so is the chemistry. We stan.
