WATCH: Ryan Thomas Breaks Down Crying After Family’s Response To Roxanne Pallett’s ‘Punch’ Claims

His family told him how proud they were of him after his turbulent few days in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

It’s not been an easy few days for Ryan Thomas in the Celebrity Big Brother house after his playful antics with Roxanne Pallett leading to her claiming he had ‘punched’ her, but his spirits were raised by a heartfelt letter from his family watching at home.

Ryan’s brother, Scott, wrote the letter telling him how proud his family are that the public are getting to see the real Ryan in the house and how well he is being perceived on the outside.

Sally Morgan read out the letter Scott wrote, “Dear Ryan, I don't think this is any surprise to you but It's Scott writing this letter, you know I love a good essay.

"Honestly bro, you don't know how proud we all are of you. You really have taken yourself out of your comfort zone and, trust me, it's been well worth it.

"You've shown the nation just how amazing you really are and carried yourself so well. I know you'll be worried how you're coming across, but we want you to know that you've absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone has seen the real you.

"Scarlett [his daughter] is missing her daddy, so, so much and we've been showing her some clips from your challenges. She can't get her head around it - she smiles from ear to ear when she sees her daddy having so much fun.

"Lucy [Mecklenburgh, his girlfriend] is more than proud of you and she's so happy everyone gets to see the Ryan she knows and loves. Keep being you and keep shining.”

His family’s reassurance that the public hadn’t turned against him in the wake of Roxanne’s allegations definitely hit home as Ryan broke down in tears and thanked his brother for the letter.

Roxanne subsequently left the house and has since apologised in interviews for “getting it wrong” and misinterpreting Ryan’s playful gesture which was caught on camera.
