Perrie Edwards has hinted she’s ready for her boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, to propose to her.

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards is ready to take her relationship to the next stage with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The ‘Sweet Melody’ singer, who is currently promoting ‘Confetti,’ and set to appear on The Jonathan Ross Show this weekend alongside Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, said she’d like a ‘traditional’ proposal.

It all started when Body Coach Joe Wicks, who was also on the show, opened up about how he proposed to his wife Rosie.

He said: “My wife Rosie was pregnant at the time, I said, ‘Let’s go on a holiday, a babymoon in the Maldives. Our last little hoorah before the baby arrives.

"We did a tour around the island, there were dolphins, the sun was setting… they took us on a boat [out to this little spit of land in the ocean], she was blindfolded, at this point she must have known – beautiful table, candles in a heart shape, chef with a BBQ making us this lovely meal.

“I just said, ‘I love you so much for carrying my baby, I want to spend my life with you, can I marry you?’

"She laughed and giggled – think it was nerves – I said can I marry you, instead of will you marry me. I said it wrong and she laughed.

“We got married a year later.”

Clearly impressed by his efforts, Perrie responded: "I’d like it to be the traditional way.

“I hope he’s watching this and heard Joe’s incredible story.

“Four years we’ve been together."
