Concert promoter Live Nation are said to be in talks to host events at the East London venue this summer.
The Olympic stadium in East London could hold live music events this summer, according to reports.
Concert promoter Live Nation are reported to be in talks with the London Legacy Development Corporation, who are tasked with securing the long-term future of the venue.
The Guardian reports that a two-day music event could take place on the first year anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic Games in July.
Last year, Live Nation left Hyde Park, where it had staged Wireless festival and other live gigs in recent years, following complaints about the sound levels at its events.
The Olympic Stadium played host to several music stars as part of the London 2012 opening and closing ceremonies last summer, including Coldplay, Rihanna, Emeli Sande and Jessie J.
A decision on the long-term future for the venue is expect to be announced within the coming weeks.
