Miley is set to drop her brand new album on September 18th, and will be doing two rare live performances in October.

She's back! Miley Cyrus has just announced her brand new album, Bass Persuades, and two special live performances.

In an Instagram post shared on September 1st, Miley wrote: "My tenth studio album, BASS PERSUADES, is yours September 18th. Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong."

"Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album. ❤️ Miley"

When does Miley Cyrus' Bass Persuades come out?

Bass Persuades will drop on September 18th worldwide and Miley has also just shared a teaser of what people can expect from the new album. Based on the snippet, it appears that Miley is leaning in a rock direction. However, full details are yet to be revealed.

What is Miley Cyrus' Bass Persuades tracklist?

Miley Cyrus' Bass Persuades tracklist will be 10 songs long. The official tracklist includes collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andree Wyatt of Miike Snow. It also ends with a remix of the title track.

Is Miley Cyrus doing a Bass Persuades tour?

Miley has also just announced two live performances on October 16th and 18th at the Hollywood Bowl but no tour has been confirmed as of yet.

Referencing how long it's been since she's done a proper live gig, Miley wrote: "It’s been a while. The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to experience music and see my favorite artists. I’ve sat in those seats many times, but I’ve never taken the stage. LA is my heart and I’m bringing it home. See you there. ❤️ Miley".

Miley previously shared that she was done with touring. Speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music during her Something Beautiful era, she explained that that one of the reasons why she doesn't tour is because of her sobriety.

Miley said: "Over the years, I've learned that sobriety is my God. I need it. I live for it. It's changed my entire life. I have certain protocols, we talked about the sobriety, that's super important to me..."

She then revealed that she's had a vocal condition where touring and singing excessively can damage her voice: "I had Reinke's edema, it's abuse of the vocal chords. Being 21 and staying up and drinking and smoking and partying after every show does not help but also in my case it does not cause it."
