Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop' Climbs Chart To Become Vodafone Big Top 40 Number One

The US rapper's international hit has climbed almost thirty places to take the top spot this weekend.

Macklemore has ended Bingo Players' one-week reign at the top of the Vodafone Big Top 40 with his international smash single 'Thrift Shop'.

The US rapper's collaboration with producer Ryan Lewis climbed 29 places today (3rd February) to become this week's number one single, while Bingo Players' 'Get Up (Rattle)' falls to number two.

The highest new entry of the weekend comes from garage duo Disclosure with their new single 'White Noise' featuring AlunaGeorge at number three, while former number one 'Scream & Shout' by will.i.am and Britney Spears is at four.

Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah's collaboration 'Drinking From The Bottle' rounds out the top five songs of the week, while Dizzee Rascal's 'Bassline Junkie' climbs up 23 places to number ten.
