A woman has admitted causing unnecessary suffering to four dogs, who went on to maul a fourteen year old girl to death in Wigan.

45 year old Beverly Concannon appeared at Wigan Magistrates' Court to plead guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to bull mastiffs Buddy and Neo and Staffordshire bull terriers Ty and Sky between July 19th last year and March 25th this year.

The animals mauled 14 year old Jade Anderson to death at the Concannon home in Atherton on the 26th of March.

The court heard that she subjected the animals to "an environment that was detrimental to their well-being"

She's been granted unconditional bail until a sentencing on October 18th, where she could be given a jail term.
