Bury Toddler Died From Stab Wounds

A post mortem examination into the death of four-year-old Chloe Burke has revealed she died from multiple stab wounds.
Shortly before 6.50pm on Thursday 17th February 2011, police were called to a house on Lea Mount Drive in Bury, after an ambulance was called.
Officers found Chloe's body in a bedroom at the house. Chloe's mother Dawn Makin, aged 33, was found next to her in a critical condition.
She was taken to hospital for treatment to various injuries and remains in a critical condition.
Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Rawlinson, from the Major Incident Team, said: "We are continuing to look into the circumstances leading up to and surrounding this incident but I want to stress we are not looking for anyone else in connection with what has happened.
"This is a very tragic case that has resulted in a young girl losing her life and our thoughts remain with Chloe's family, who are understandably very upset by what has happened."
