A court has heard how the lives of four young men "changed forever" in the space of 23 seconds after violence "exploded" outside a Manchester nightclub.
25 year old Matthew Edgington spent months in hospital after being repeatedly punched outside Panacea on John Dalton Street on 28 November 2009. The talented semi-professional footballer was left with permanent injuries.
The entire attack lasted just 23 seconds but changed the lives of all those involved permanently, Manchester Crown Court heard.
Simon Parrott, 21, and Samual Jordan, 21, were sentenced to 14 months. While Lee Walne, 22, will spend 6 months behind bars.
