Thirteen Charged Following Drugs Raids In Oldham

Thirteen men have been charged following drugs raids in Oldham last week.


Fifteen people were arrested in dawn raids on Thursday 21 July as police targeted 15 addresses in Oldham to tackle drug dealing.

An 18-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. Both have been bailed until 6 September 2011 pending further inquiries.

· Aaron Flanagan of Earnshaw Close, Ashton-under-Lyne has been charged with supplying Class A Drugs. He was due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 22 July 2011.

· Aaron Southwood of Cherry Avenue, Oldham has been charged with supplying Class A Drugs. He was due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 22 July 2011.

· Curtis Swales of Fir Tree Avenue, Oldham has been charged with supplying Class A Drugs. He was due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 22 July 2011.


The following men have all been charged with supplying Class A drugs. They are due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 2 August 2011.

· Akhtar Hussain of Clarkwell Close, Oldham

· Mohammed Ruhel Miah of Main Road, Oldham

· Ashrafur Rahman of Richmond Walk, Oldham

· Ghulam Hussain of Eleanor Street, Westwood

· Mustafa Ghulam of Eleanor Street, Westwood


The following men have all been charged with supplying Class A drugs and are due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 4 August 2011.

· Joshim Ali of Widdop Street, Oldham

· Hasan Ullah of Middleton Road, Oldham

· Abdul Ullah of Middleton Road, Oldham

· Mohammed Mutiur Rahman of Colwyn Street, Oldham.


Christopher Delaney of Buckfast Avenue, Oldham has been charged for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He is due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 4 August 2011.
