Teenager Charged With Stretford Boy's Murder

A Manchester teenager has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Moses Mathias, 18, was arrested in Amsterdam on a European arrest warrant following a joint investigation by Greater Manchester Police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency.

He has been charged with the murder of Giuseppe Gregory after being flown back to the United Kingdom.

The suspect is due before Manchester City Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Giuseppe, 16, died in the early hours of May 11, 2009 after being shot outside the Robin Hood pub on Barton Road, Stretford.

Njabulo Ndlovu, 19, and Hiruy Zerihun, 18, were both jailed for life for the murder following a trial at Manchester Crown Court in March last year.

Ndlovu was ordered to serve a minimum of 21 years before parole and Zerihun 23 years before parole.
