Police investing the death of a man, whose body was found in a Manchester City canal have arrested a woman as well as a 14 year old boy.
Police were called to Canal Street on Saturday afternoon, where they found the body of 40 year Simon Brass, from Salford.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he drowned but he had not been attacked as there were no injuries to his body.
The teenager and 21 year old woman are being questioned in custody as inquiries are ongoing.
Chief Superintendent Russ Jackson said: “As a result of information received from the community, we have made this arrest.
“However, we are still eager to talk to anyone who may have information as to what led up to the discovery of the man's body.''
