Stabbing In Bolton

A 20 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a stabbing in Bolton.

Police said they were called to a domestic incident at a house in Ashton Street in Little Lever at about 03:00am on Tuesday.

They then got a second call to the house saying a man had been stabbed.

Police found a man believed to be in his late 30s with a neck injury. He later died in hospital.

The man under arrest remains in police custody for questioning.

 Police said inquiries are continuing.
