Greater Manchester Police have charged a man with handling stolen goods after thousands of pounds worth of copper cable was recovered.
31 year old Barry Hodkinson from Poynter Walk in Oldham was arrested after police were called to Middleton Road in Royton on the 5th September, after reports that copper piping was being stripped.
Officers recovered the cable which was since valued at up to £38,000.
Hodkinson will appear before Oldham Magistrates' Court on the 14th November.
