A man who was attacked at a bar in Urmston, now has metal plates in his jaw after it was shattered when he was punched.

In the early hours of Friday 24 March, the 25-year-old man got into a argument with the attacker who, without warning punched both sides of his face, shattering both sides of his jaw.

The attacker then left but is described as being white, in his early 20s, of stocky build and with a shaved head.

Detective Constable Lee Attenborough said: “This was an entirely unprovoked attack which has left the victim severely injured.
