Nearly 200 staff have been evacuated from a benefits office in Bolton after suspicious package was found.
Shortly before 7.50am, police were called to Back Spring Gardens following reports of a suspicious package.
Nearly 200 staff have been evacuated from Elizabeth House and a 100 metre cordon is in place.
Bomb disposal experts have been called in to ensure the package is recovered safely.
Road closures are in place in the town centre. Great Moor Street and Newport Street in particular are affected.
