'SAS-style' Armed Gang Jailed
Six men - armed with machetes, tasers and guns - have been jailed after carrying out a series of robberies in London.
The gang raided building societies in east London, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk over the last 4 years - stealing hundreds of thousands of pounds in cash as well as a high number of sports cars.
The six men dressed in black uniforms and balaclavas when carrying out the raids.
The ringleader, Danny Speed, 30, of Eisenhower Drive, Beckton, was jailed for 20 years after being convicted in January of four armed robberies and three counts of conspiracy to burgle between 2007 and 2009.
