To celebrate the first anniversary of the cycle hire scheme its being expanded throughout west and south west London by the summer of 2013.

Barclays has agree another 25 million pounds of sponsorship but money from westfield shopping centre will see docking stations in shepherds bush by spring next year.

The eastern extension is expected to be completed by spring 2012
