The "Triangle Dance Challenge" is going viral and it's hilarious

A new dance challenge is sweeping the internet and we might actually be able to do this one – MIGHT. The "Triangle Dance" is going viral and unlike the Vans Challenge or Croc Challenge, it doesn't require throwing your favourite pair of shoes off of the roof.

You'll need three people for this one. Stand in a triangle with your hands locked on each other's shoulders and then begin taking it in turns to jump into the middle. It's pretty simple as long as you remember to jump in a straight line and avoid giving your pal a concussion.

The dance is really blowing up on Twitter right now, with friends and colleagues desperately trying to master the intricate footwork.

Where did the "Triangle Dance" come from?

It's thought the challenge started with a TikTok (where else?!) in February 2019. A TikTok user named Matthew Jones posted a video performing the dance to "Milkshake" by Kelis.

It's received almost 950,000 likes on the video app already and it quickly became known as the "Milkshake Challenge".

Now everyone's doing it, all you need is a good track to dance to.

…or just the sound of your shoes slapping on the ground, yeah, that works?

Needless to say, it doesn't always go to plan for the uncoordinated among us.
