Viva la Vida was a huge song for Coldplay. It reached the top spot of the UK Singles Chart and on America's Billboard Hot 100, The song won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009.

In 2008, Leona Lewis became the first British female artist to top the US billboard charts in more than two decades! The single 'Bleeding Love' featured on Lewis's debut offering 'Spirit' which also topped the U.S Charts in it's first week of release.

The U.K girlband revealed in summer 2010 their plans to follow in the foot steps of The Spice Girls and take their music stateside. In preparation, the girls enlisted the help of U.S rapper Flo Rida to collaborate on current single 'Higher'.
