      In 2009, his American debut single "Down" topped the Billboard Hot 100. It was the seventh-best selling song of 2009, having sold more than three million digital copies in the United States and six million copies worldwide.

      Viva la Vida was a huge song for Coldplay. It reached the top spot of the UK Singles Chart and on America's Billboard Hot 100, The song won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009.

      Grammy Award winning Joss Stone has released 4 albums in the U.S resulting in over 2.2 Million albums in the states. The highest charting album being the 2007 offering 'Introducing...Joss Stone' which peaked at No.2

      Winehouse released album 'Back to Black' in the states back in 2006. The double platinum album won 5 awards at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards inlcuding Best Pop Vocal Album. The LP featured hit single 'Rehab' which peaked at number 9 on the U.S Billboard Hot 100

      It is rumoured that Simon Cowell has offered his help in promoting the band and their launch in the states. The band have said they want to work with Rihanna and Bruno Mars on their third album.
