The Capital Late Show With Marvin Humes 10pm - 1am
Batman and Superman are set to face off in a new Hollywood movie in 2015 but, with Christian Bale no longer on the cards, the industry is in need of a new Caped Crusader! Capital has rounded up ten of the pop world's finest so see which of them might make a good replacement for the Dark Knight and why!
One of the most enduring traits about Batman, or more specifically his alter ego Bruce Wayne, is his multi-million dollar empire, Wayne Enterprises. There's no doubt that Jay-Z, with his MANY successful businesses, would have little trouble slipping into the Wayne shoes!
When you think of Batman... it doesn't take long for the superhero's iconic car the Batmobile to spring to mind! 'Turn Up The Music' singer Chris Brown is a big car fanatic and we reckon he'd look pretty cool behind the wheel of Batman's pimped up ride.
Harry Styles is rarely out of the papers these days due to his latest (rumoured) dalliance with a beautiful woman...not unlike the Caped Crusader himself! Maybe Harry could channel some of his lothario ways into playing Batman on the big screen...and we're sure he wouldn't mind playing scenes opposite a sexy femme fatale Catwoman either!
Bruce Wayne is the CEO of a billion-dollar business so he has to make sure he looks the part... which is where Bruno comes in! The 'Treasure' rapper is one of the best dressed men in pop and would have no trouble rocking a tuxedo for those all important scenes of Batman at a charity event... right before the Joker gate-crashes the party!
Batman is one of the toughest superheroes in comics and he has the biceps to prove it! Capital reckons there's only one man buff enough to match Batman in that unforgiving superhero suit... muscle man Tinie Tempah!
Batman's a smooth operator when it comes to the ladies...due in no small part to his striking looks and enviable cheekbones! 'Carry You' singer Josh Cuthbert definitely has the model-esque facial features to give Christian Bale a run for his money in the bone structure stakes!
Batman's most famous asset is undoubtedly his mask, so who better to take on the role than one half of the French house duo Daft Punk! The 'Get Lucky' pair have been rocking masks for most of their career so they know better than anyone how to get your message across without having the luxury of a smile or a frown!
Batman is almost always backed up by his teen sidekick Robin in the comics, and has become mentor to many a budding superhero. Sounds pretty similar to the relationship between Usher and his own protege Justin Bieber... so why not kit these two out as the ultimate crime-fighting duo!
Batman's strength lies in his years of conditioning and training as a fighter and athlete. Aston may spend his days performing on stage across the globe but he can still pull out a picture-perfect back-flip when the time calls for it... maybe Mr. Merrygold has got the skills to take on the cowl?
'Mama Do The Hump' duo Rizzle Kicks can easily be on standby if Warner Bros has trouble filling that all-important role... they've already got the Batman & Robin suits after all!
