Who's performing at the Olympics Games closing ceremony? Well, that's still a secret, but the fans have spoken and here are the top ten acts Capital FM fans are hoping will show up at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
First up its the ultimate club double act - Calvin Harris and Example! After storming the charts with their joint single 'We'll Be Coming Back', which recently hit number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40, it seems Capital FM listeners are keen for the two to bring their unique flavour of dance pop to the stage for the closing ceremony later this month.
Justin may be Canadian... but that doesn't mean the fans don't want to see the pop sensation hitting the stage to belt out one of his hits for the millions set to watch the London 2012 closing ceremony. Justin's Ludacris team-up 'All Around The World' would seem like a good guess for song choice if the pop star does indeed make an appearance.
Storming in at number eight on our countdown of the most wanted and predicted acts who could show up at the much talked about ceremony is UK boy band JLS! The band first rose to fame on the 2008 series of The X Factor UK and have had a hugely successful pop career since then, meaning there's a good chance Aston, Marvin, JB and Oritse could be called in to represent the best of British!
Singer Florence Welch's pop stock has never been higher, after topping the Vodafone Big Top 40 chart with the Calvin Harris remix of her hit 'Spectrum (Say My Name), and there's no doubt Florence has the 'Lungs' to wow a stadium full of expectant viewers.
You voted regular stadium performers Coldplay at number six on Capital's countdown of the London 2012 closing ceremony predictions. Could Chris Martin and co be set to rock the Olympic Stadium with one of their huge 2012 hits like 'Paradise' or 'Charlie Brown'?
Creeping it at number five on our countdown is the crowd-pleasing singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran! The 'Lego House' star is well used to performing to huge audiences now, after managing to crack the US earlier this year. Could Ed be making an appearance at the London 2012 closing ceremony to bring down the house with one of his signature hits? Picture: Splash
They've been heavily rumoured for the much hyped closing ceremony of London 2012... it's One Direction at number four! The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers are one of the most successful British pop exports in years and have conquered charts across the world, making many assume they're a a good guess to represent the end of Britain's Olympic Games.
The 'Someone Like You' singer has missed out on the top spot but Capital FM fans are all clearly keen to see Adele wowing the Olympic Stadium with her unique vocal talents. With the recent announcement that the 'Rolling In The Deep' star is expecting her first child soon, would Adele have time to fit in a quick performance to close out the Games in style?
She's been dominating the charts for the past twelve months as well as rocketing up the TV ratings on The Voice UK, so an appearance from Jessie J at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony wouldn't seem like too far-fetched an idea. Capital FM fans are clearly keen to see 'Domino' ending the Games with a band later this month!
The results are in and The Wanted have topped Capital's poll to find out who you expect to see taking to the stage this month to close out the London 2012 Olympic Games. Max, Tom, Jay, Siva and Nathan have a huge pop career with chart hits including 'Glad You Came' and 'Chasing The Sun', and it looks like you're expecting them to represent Britain by closing our the Games in style.
