Summertime Ball 2012 Weather Forecast Set For "Sunny Spells"

Met Office tells Capital FM that temperatures are set to reach highs of 17 degrees at Wembley Stadium.

The weather forecast for Capital FM's Summertime Ball is set for "sunny spells", according to the Met Office.

The event takes place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (9th June) and will feature performances from the likes of Usher, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.

A Met Office spokesperson told Capitalfm.com that the forecast was looking dry throughout the afternoon and evening, with temperatures reaching highs of 17 degrees.

They said: "Saturday afternoon will see some sunny spells at times with temperatures around 17 degrees but it will be quite windy.

"Later in the evening the winds will die down again leaving a dry evening."

This weekend's Summertime Ball will also feature performances from the likes of Coldplay, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Example and The Wanted.

Capital FM is coming live from the Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium on 9th June.
