The Capital Late Show with Sonny Jay 10pm - 1am
The muddiest festival of the year returns on the weekend of the 24th to the 28th June this year, and we're taking guesses about just WHO will be on that world-class line-up.
She's been rumoured MANY times before for Glasto but it's never happened. With all of the press interest, amazing sales of her 'Rebel Heart' songs and her general all-round controversial image right now, could 2015 be the year the Queen Of Pop takes her throne on the Pyramid stage? Picture: Getty
The rumour doing the rounds now is that Glasto's organisers are pushing VERY hard to have Adele return to the limelight on THEIR stage. This could be quite the coup if it happens.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! That's our motto when it comes to the potential of having Ed Sheeran return to Glastonbury for the second year in a row. And after his HUGE success with 'X' over the past twelve months, why not? Picture: iTunes
The Beatles legend is EVERYWHERE right now, thanks to team-ups with pop contemporaries like Rihanna, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and even a duet with Taylor Swift recently. Just IMAGINE the all-star Glastonbury set where classic meets new!
Mother Monster Lady Gaga's played Glasto before but NEVER on the Pyramid stage. With six years passed since her last appearance, back in the 'Fame Monster' days, could this be the time for Gaga's triumphant comeback? Picture: Getty
Glastonbury's not all about rock 'n' roll these days... it's as much about EDM as anything! And we're guessing a DJ set from the KING of dance music these days, Mr. Calvin Harris, could get the party off to a VERY good start in the Dance Village this June!. Picture: PA
Can you REALLY have a big summer party without the original EDM master there to kickstart it? The answer, is no. (Picture: iTunes)
We predict another return for 'Burn' singer Ellie Goulding this year, after smashing her set in 2014, it just wouldn't be right for the 'Love Me Like you Do' star to NOT be back on that stage again. Picture: Splash
There's few artists as talked about as Iggy Azalea this year so far, so if Glasto wants to get the FRESHEST artists around, Iggy's the way to go! Picture: PA
We smell a potential headliner here... especially if he brings along N.E.R.D or some of his showbiz pals! Picture: iTunes Festival
Could Glastonbury opt to go down the Beyonce 2011 route and drop Rihanna in as a wildcard headliner? She'd certainly get the crowd going! Picture: Getty
We could EVEN see them going even further afield with their top star choices by getting a PURE pop artist in. And these days, who's purer than 'Shake It Off' singer Taylor Swift? Picture: Getty
They're no strangers to Glastonbury but SOMETHING tells us Chris Martin & Co aren't done with those muddy fields just yet. And with new album 'A Head Full Of Dreams' on the way this year, this could be the moment!
They're had Jay-Z headline the festival before, so how about taking things to the extreme by having the Real Slim Shady, Eminem, take one of the top three spots and taking things SERIOUS old school with 15 years worth of anthems. Picture: Getty
Kanye's been rumoured AGAIN and AGAIN for the Glastonbury Festival line-up, but fingers crossed 2015 turns out to be the year all those rumours are actually true. This one could make some SERIOUS headlines. Picture: PA
We'd put money on 'Changing' duo Sigma showing up to blast out there recent chart hits and get the party goers dancing across the festival.
Another dance act who could easily show up after a big 12 months of hit remixes.
He's one of the critical darlings of the moment, thanks to his many BRIT Awards nominations, so will George Ezra make an impression on the Glasto stage this year? Picture: Getty
She made BIG waves with her Grammy Awards 2015 performance, and has suddenly become a mainstay on charts across the world. Who else reckons Sia would put on a pretty special performance in those Glasto fields?
Is there a more talked about solo artist this year than Mr. Sam Smith? With four Grammys to his name already, this one has headliner written all OVER it. Picture: Getty
It's hard to believe we'd only just heard about Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne this time last year. How time flies... now get this team-up on that Glasto line-up pronto! Picture: Richard Johnson
With his song riding high on the charts still and PLENTY of high expectations to his name, Hozier would make sure he left an impression on EVERYONE who sees his Glasto set.
The BRITs Critics' Choice winner for 2015 would have a lot to prove if he joins the line-up. And no doubt he'd deliver in SPADES!
Another Critics' Choice nominee, Years & Years are one of the big names of the moment. and Glastonbury is ALL about showcasing big talent. BRING IT ON!
She's smashed the US, teamed up with some of the BIGGEST acts on the planet already, and now, could it be time for her to rule the festival circuit too? Picture: Getty
