Leicestershire police are investigating a raid on a bank in Oadby.
It's believed a gang of armed men smashed their weay in to the premises in the parade around half 8 this morning.
Although there were staff inside at the time - it's not belived there are any injuries. Officers were called to the premises at 8.42am on Thursday following a report that a black 4x4 vehicle had reversed into the building.
A deposit machine was damaged and cash taken before the suspects left.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
Detective Inspector Mark Parish said: “The investigation is at a very early stage and we are urging anyone who was in the area and has any information to make contact.
“Anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time should also check this and get in touch.
