Over 1,100 cannabis plants have been found at a house in Gedling.

At around 1pm a PCSO attended the address in St Michaels Avenue following reports of suspicious activity. Upon arrival they found the kitchen door wide open and two Asian men offered few details, before making off on foot.

Following a search of the house, over 1,100 cannabis plants covering three bedrooms were found. Had the plants been given the opportunity to reach maturity, they would have had an estimated street value of up to £1.1 million. The Drug Support Team attended and dismantled the cannabis plants; enquiries are on-going.

The two Asian men are believed to be in their twenties. If you have any information, or can help with the investigation, please call us on 101, quoting incident number 376 of 2 October 2018.
