A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an assault in Leicester.
A 27-year-old, who'd been at a party in Princess Road West on Sunday morning, is being treated at the LRI for puncture wounds, he's in a critical condition.
The attack happened at 3.35am on Sunday.
The 21-year-old will appear at Leicester Magistrates Court this morning.
Another 21-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Leicestershire Police told Capital:
'A number of people have come forward to speak to police but officers are still keen to speak to anyone who hasn’t as yet been in touch and may be able help.
'Were you also at the party? Did you see what happened? Please come forward and speak to police if you have any information at all.'
