Man Charged With Murder of Wife

A Nottingham man's been charged with the murder of his wife on Christmas day,

Stephen Woodward, aged 56, was arrested on Christmas Day after Gillian Woodward, also 56, was found dead at their home in Bosden Close, Bilborough, around 3.45pm.

A post mortem found she died from a stab wound.

Mr Woodward remains in police custody and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday 28 December.
