Despite going down 2-1 to Real Madrid, Leicester City Manager Sven-Goran Eriksson said it felt like he was part of a 'football party' yesterday.
There was a record crowd at the King Power Stadium, 32,188 fans watched the Foxes take on Jose Mourinho's men.
Eriksson said:
"It was a good game and very good for us.
"Physically we're ready [for the new season] and the new players have settled in really well. I can at least promise you that defensively, as a team, we are much better than last season and that was a must."
Leicester face Coventry on Saturday.
