The Capital Late Show With Marvin Humes 10pm - 1am
After huge movies like Twilight, Scream and Paranormal Activity, the world's first degree in Horror is being offered at Derby Uni.
The new MA in Horror and Transgression is aimed at film-makers and covers subjects like American Studies, Creative Writing, English Literature and Theatre Studies.
The course has the support of horror writer Clive Barker who is planning to be involved, saying "Thank you for Raising Hell in Derby!"
Course Leader Jason Lee told Capital:
"Students are so passionate about it. It's really important to explore from 'Buffy' to all the re-makes of horror films, 'Shaun of The Dead' and so on.
"My son's 9, he's obsessed with this idea around Dracula and I think the readaptation of ideas around vampires is something that can never go away and I think that's what people are interested in."
