The Capital Weekender with Kem Cetinay 7pm - 10pm
Five men have been arrested after a police car exploded outside an election count in Leicestershire this morning.
Leicestershire Police have told Capital officers were called to the Bosworth count at Hinckley Leisure Centre, in Hinckley at around 2.30am.
No one was injured in the explosion, which sprayed glass across the road but didn't disrupt the count.
The force tweeted:
'Police car on fire at 2.30am today on Coventry Road, Hinckley. No one injured. Five men arrested in connection with the incident.''
Steve Moore, watch manager at Hinckley fire station, told reporters it was 'probably malicious'.
