A judge has told a Nottinghamshire sex offender he can expect to be in prison until he's a very old man.
Simon David North, of Long Lane, Farndon has been given a life sentence for crimes against children.
The 46-year-old pleaded guilty to 14 offences; six relating to a girl over a seven year period.
North will not be considered for parole before nine years have passed, he'll sign the Sex Offenders' Register indefinitely and faces a lifetime ban from working with children.
Judge Michael Stokes QC added that he thought North was an ongoing danger to children and told him to expect to be in jail until he is a very old man.
Detective Constable Andy Taylor said:
'In cases such as this it is often the offender who takes people's attention, but make no mistake, the girls in this case have been central to our efforts and the main driving force in our quest for justice.
'I hope the fact that North can no longer harm them will spur these girls on to enjoy the bright futures they deserve.'
