A Derbyshire man has been jailed for seriously injuring a woman he hit driving his car.
Samuel Roberts, 26, of Tor Rise, Matlock, hit the 35-year-old pedestrian in Church Street, Matlock, as she was crossing the road at the time.
She suffered numerous fractures to her head an pelvis when his Range Rover collided with her on November 6 2013.
Robert was jailed for 18 months at Derby Crown Court on Friday September 11.
He must also serve a three year driving ban and take an extended driving test to get his license back.
