A fire at an old theatre in Derby is being treated as suspicious until investigators establish the cause.
Police and fire crews have started a joint investigation into the fire at the old theatre in Derby City Centre.
Emergency services were called to the former Hippodrome in Green Lane at 3:30am Saturday morning.
Investigation teams won't be able to get into the building for a few days, until the structure is made safe.
A Royal Lancers homecoming parade had to be re-routed and 15 people were evacuated to a hotel.
Roads around the site, including Macklin Street, Gower Street and St Peter’s Churchyard, are still closed.
