Girl Attacked: 'Nasty Injuries'

A group of teenagers have attacked a 13-year-old girl in Derby, breaking her nose and fracturing her cheek.

Police have told Capital she was punched, kicked and had cigarettes stubbed out on her face during two assaults within 3 hours in Belper on Saturday.

She was first attacked on Chapel Street then Derwent Street on Saturday afternoon.

Five girls, aged between 13 and 15, have been arrested over the attack. They have all been released on bail.
