Police investigating an assault in a city centre pub have released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to.
The 61-year-old victim had been in The Standing Order, in Iron Gate, when he was approached by a man who thought he had been staring at him.
A short time later, the offender walked back up to the victim and grabbed him forcefully around the throat. He was ejected from the pub after the incident.
The offender was white, about 6ft, with short hair and a closely cropped beard. He wore a shirt, leather jacket and jeans.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault, which happened at about 6.15pm on June 29.
