Two men, one from Portugal and one from Leicestershire, have been arrested after a crash between a lorry and a minibus in which two people died and six others were injured.
It happened on the A511 in Tutbury, near Burton, just before 7 o'clock yesterday morning.
A man in his 40s from Portugal and a man in his 20s from Appleby Magna in Leicestershire, are being held on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Staffordshire Police have told Capital interpreters are helping police with their inquiry into the crash.
A man in his 20s is in a critical condition at Nottingham's QMC, five others have been treated and discharged from hospital.
