Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp 6am - 10am
Britsh Transport Police have given Capital a photo that shows a groups of boys playing just metres from railway tracks in Leicester.
Officers want to find the lads and explain to them just how close they came to being hit by a train.
The train driver had to pull the emergency brake and managed to stop just short of going into one of the boys who ran out onto the tracks.
PC Rachel Morfett is investigating. She explained:
"Around 5.30pm, a train was travelling on the track next to Ashlyns Rise in Leicester.
"As the driver approached a foot crossing, he spotted a group of between six and seven youths by the tracks.
"With the train just 200 yards away, one of the youths ran out in front of it before moving."
The driver took a photo of the boys as the train passed before reporting the incident to police.
