Arrest After Stabbing Outside Nottinghamshire Supermarket

A man's been stabbed outside a supermarket in Nottinghamshire.

A 25-year-old was found with stab wounds outside Asda in Priestsic Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield at around 9.27pm on Saturday 18 August. 

He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening of life-altering.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is in police custody. 

Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing, but are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch to give them information. 

A cordon is still in place around the supermarket as investigations continue.
