Roman, Vick and Sonny stopped by the Olympic Park to see one of the charities Global’s Make Some Noise supports.

Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay paid a visit to the Olympic Park to check out KEEN London, a charity which runs sports sessions for children and young people with disabilities.

Roman, Vick and Sonny spent a day with them to see how the money you guys help us raise through Global’s Make Some Noise is put to use to help children with disabilities be able to take part in some seriously fun sporting activities.

KEEN London allows kids to take part all kids of adapted sporting activities, and the guys got to witness an adapted cycling session – not only is it good exercise and lots of fun, but these activities can help their participants to grow in confidence, too.

KEEN run sports sessions, just like this one, in Camden, Hackney and Lambeth which give children and young people with disabilities the chance to enjoy a wide range of physical activities. KEEN’s staff and volunteers are all so welcoming to each person who walks through the door and they work hard to make sure the activities are focused to the needs of everyone taking part.

Roman got involved with the project, sharing with the kids that he had only just learnt to ride a bike himself… and showed off his skills on a WAY too small children’s bike!

By tuning in to Capital on Friday 5th October, you can join the noise and donate to Global’s Make Some Noise to support more small charities just like KEEN London.
