Bingley Music Live was a brand new discovery for me last year.

And I’d never bargained on was that it would be one of the best festivals I’d go to that season. Egg reet all over my little face!

The line up was Awesome for such a little festival… I’d seen Seasick Steve early on at Glastonbury… But this time I was seeing him with only 6 people between us. Lush.

Bingley Music live 2011, continues the trend of shock with the line up.

For only £35, you’ll see the legend that is Huey Morgan with Fun Loving Criminals, northern beauties Maximo Park and givers of your daily ‘commercial dubstep’ Chase and Status.

And that’s just the headliners. Think about it… How much would you pay for a ticket to a gig of even just one of these bands?

And then there’s the rest. I’m getting giddy knees at the thought of pounding the ground in to Cut Dem by Newport band Skindred and there’s the Go Team, Feeder, The Coral, Jon Fratelli, Geek, Stereo MCs and the mega Sunshine Underground.

Phew… It’s huge. The line up is. The festival is simply well laid out and perfectly formed. One big stage, plenty of food and plenty of room at the bar.

There’s a great atmosphere with people from all across Yorkshire and the UK coming together and mingling to have a good dance to some reef good bands!

As for camping… Don’t worry. There’s loads of sites in that there grassy and green Yorkshire, with train services right next to a lot of them. It’s so easy to do this festival. Drive near t’Bradford, pitch up ‘tent, pop t’pub, jog t’train station, pay t’fair, get off, pop t’Weatherspoons for a cheap drink and then head over t’Festy. Marvellous….

See you there. I’ll be the one running around with glitter on my face and some sort of silly hat… I might give you a hug, will probably say hi and will definitely be flashing out the smiles.
