A nursery worker has appeared in court charged with rape and causing or inciting a boy to engage in sexual activity.
Jamie Chapman, who faces a total of 15 charges, was remanded in custody for a month after appearing at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.
The 28-year-old, of Tamar Drive, Smiths Wood, Birmingham, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with rape, four counts of causing or inciting a boy to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of a child.
He is also charged with taking an indecent image of a child, distributing an indecent image of a child, and six counts of making an indecent photograph.
West Midlands Police have said officers are liaising with the nursery where Chapman was employed but had found no evidence to suggest any inappropriate contact with children at the nursery.
Chapman has been ordered to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on December 9.
