Detectives investigating the murder of a 16 year old boy in Sandwell have released CCTV of 12 people they want to speak to in connection with the investigation.
Ben Morutare died after being stabbed in the leg outside the Smethiwick Home Guard and Old Comrades Club on Oldbury road, Smethick, in the early hours of Saturday July 28th.
Police have already charged a 17 year old with Ben's murder, but officers are keen to stress that the investigation is ongoing, and want help to identify the people in the CCTV images.
Two other teenagers have been charged with violent disorder, one of whom is also facing a charge of perverting the cause of justice.
Detective Chief Inspector Bob Hazel said "We know there were lots of people around when Ben was stabbed and there are still many who haven't come forward or who haven't been able to identify.
We believe that some of those in the CCTV stills could be vital witnesses who have crucial information which could assist our investigation.
I would urge anyone who recognises themselves in these images or anyone who knows the identities of those pictured to get in touch as soon as possible."
A number of people currently remain on bail pending further enquirers after being arrested in connection with Ben's death.
