Budget Day Strike

Staff at the biggest civil service union in the country are starting a series of strikes in a row over pay and conditions on the 20th of March.

More than 250 thousand people working at Job Centres, Courts, Airport Customs and tax offices will be effected.
 
Around 5 thousand people in the Birmingham area are expected to walk out.
 
Strikers in Birmingham, Shropshire, Dudley, Worcester, Coventry will gather for a rally in Birmingham City Centre at 12:30am
