Police Investigate Two Shootings In Northfield

Two windows of the property were smashed in the shooting, which happened at around 12.30am.

Officers are also investigating another incident where a shotgun was fired at a house in nearby Chatham Road, which happened just after midnight yesterday (Monday 20 August).

No-one was injured in either incident.

Det Insp Vanessa Eyles said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and are conducting house to house and CCTV enquiries to establish what has gone on.

“Although we cannot categorically link the two incidents together at this stage, that is something we will be exploring.”
