Years & Years' New Album 'Communion': What To Expect
The hottest trio around have announced their debut album will be released on 22nd June. We thought we'd make some predictions on what to expect on 'Communion'.
1. More No.1 singles of course, duh.
It didn't take long for Olly, Mikey and Emre to become chart royalty with their single 'King', see what we did there…(note to self, stop explaining our own jokes).
2. A cheeky collaboration or two?
Although the track listing has been revealed, there are a few tracks that remain untitled…Sam Smith cameo anyone?
3. Something a little more chilled.
If you look closely on iTunes, track No.17 is an acoustic version of 'King', we can't think of anything more worthy of 99p.
4. Music videos galore.
Whether it's their funky album & single artwork or their stunning videos, Years & Years obviously pride themselves on visuals just as much as their music. Cue some more special music videos.
5. Old favourites.
The trio released 'Desire' in late November and it quickly entered the Vodafone Big Top 40 giving us all a taste of what was to come. Luckily for all your die hard fans, it's back on their debut album!
6. It's unlikely but maybe one of their trademark covers.
Covers aren't usually what you'd expect to see in a debut album but when they are as good as Years & Years' then we REALLY wouldn't mind. Not heard their version of Blu Cantrall's 'Breathe' yet? Get to it!
